Core sleep: 01:40 - 06:15
Nap: 21:20 - 23:00

Today, I missed my nap because I was eating dinner. Altthough I did take the nap a bit later than usual, I got very tired. I also had troubles waking up — it was definitely more difficult than it usually is. I am stilll tired, and I woke up half an hour ago. Perhaps I should try sleeping now in order to get the sleep schedule right again.

Core sleep: 01:30 - 07:30
Nap: 20:00 - 21:30

Today is my birthday, and thanks to biphasic sleep, I got up fast enough to make breakfast for myself.

Core sleep: 01:30 - 07:30
Nap: 20:30 - 22:00

Today, I lingered in bed until a quarter past after the nap, and by then I was still sleepy. I’ll try to sleep 7.5 hours for some time now, and see if it makes it better.

Core sleep: 01:30 - 06:00
Nap: 20:20 - 21:50

The last 72 hours or so, I’ve only slept a total of six hours a day. I can feel that this is getting back at me already; today, in Physics, I was dead close to falling asleep. I was barely saved by a highly timely nut-cake.

And so, I conclude that I need more than six hours a day to get by. On the other hand, 7.5 hours seemed too much. Perhaps alternating between the two is a good idea.

Core sleep: 01:40 - 06:30
Nap: 20:40 - 22:00

The nap felt great today. I could get up without any real problems. Also, note that I continue sleeping 4.5 hours of core sleep, and I still feel great.

Core sleep: 01:45 - 06:30
Nap: 20:10 - 22:00

I really had to force me up from this nap. Probably it was because I had given myself 20 minutes to fall asleep, although I fell asleep almost immediately. I have to improve in feeling how tired I am.

Core sleep: 01:20 - 06:00
Nap: 21:20 - 22:00

The plan with sleeping for only six hours a day is going fine. I didn’t have any trouble waking up after 4.5 hours, but I did stay in the bed for ten minutes or so contemplating whether I’d have enough energy to make it through the day. Needless to say, I never even felt tired until the nap.

Core sleep: 02:40 - 06:30
Nap: 20:20 - 22:00

This day was interesting. I went to sleep 02:40, planning a core sleep of 4.5 hours instead of my usual six. However, I awoke automatically around 6 and couldn’t force myself to sleep again. Although I lingered in the bed semi-sleeping for half an hour, I did get up. To the end of the last class (Economics) today, I almost fell asleep, but I used to do that before I tried biphasic sleeping, too. My day has in fact been quite yawn-free, despite only three hours of real sleep.

Since I was tired, the nap went painlessly past and I fell asleep after just a few minutes.

Core sleep: 01:50 - 08:00
Nap: 20:10 - 22:00

I’m still not tired. Both sleeps required alarm clocks to wake up, but I had no problems getting up once I awoke. I feel that I have adapted now. The adaption phase actually went painlessly past, as opposed to what others have written.

Core Sleep: 01:40 - 07:10
Nap: 20:20 - 22:00

Today was Saturday, and I have never got up that early without a reason on a weekend. I got up after the core sleep without the alarm clock. Note that I slept less than four full cycles anyway — 5.5 hours. The two explanations are that 1) my sleep cycles are only about 80 minutes, and that 2) I just slept for three cycles and that was enough. I can’t recall taking an hour to fall asleep, so I’m hoping for the former one.

Other than that, I’m still always feeling refreshed. Even though I needed the alarm clock to wake me up from the nap, I never felt any tired.
