In Normal mode, Uther Lightbringer did a good job defending your base on his own. In Hard it isn’t that easy, so you’ll have to keep your army in your base during the Orc raids. As soon as possible, let Arthas and a full group of riflemen attack the dragon Searinox to get a nice Orb of Fire.
You will have to use siege weapons to take those twoers down. After the base is destroyed you should have absolutely no problems killing the Blademaster, since there will be nofurther attacks.
